The project, developed by Indian Highways Management Company Ltd (IHMCL) and implemented by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), covers a stretch of 56.46 km and is powered by a sophisticated network of AI-enabled sensors and cameras.
The system can detect 14 types of traffic violations, including overspeeding, seatbelt non-compliance, and triple riding on two-wheelers, making it one of the most advanced traffic monitoring systems ever deployed on an Indian expressway.
